Geely is investing nearly $1 billion in Swedish automaker Volvo. GM and the U.S. Department of Energy are studying the jatropha plant for its potential as a new source of earth-friendly biodiesel. Lincoln pulls the wraps off its first-ever hybrid, an electrified version of the MKZ sedan.
