That Ford guy that thinks swing gate is a good idea is a great example of not understanding functionality. No one has enough garage space to swing that door open and have the garage closed in the rain/snow. Even in a parking lot, it is an issue having a door protrude into the aisle and what do you do when someone parallel parks close to you in the city? Lift up or half up/half down is the only way to go. Doesn’t matter how good that car is, the gate is a deal breaker.
