  1. Chuck Grenci Says:

Wondering what other renewable energy sources are included in the charging station (from Honda); the overhead canopy is only supplying a small fraction of the charge output presented (though it is a good idea to use renewable sources).

And just to complete the trifecta of racing this weekend; Monaco winner was Sebastian Vettel with Ferrari taking 1st and 2nd (Kimi Raikkonen).

  2. Kit Gerhart Says:

I was able to watch the Indy race in “blacked out” central India, via the ABC web site. I don’t have data, but I suspect Sato led by more continuous laps at the end than we’ve seen in a while. I also, suspect Sato was tense about his engine, clear to the end, given that two of his team mates had blown engines.

It’s already shaping up to be a much more interesting F1 season than we’ve seen in a while. Good stuff.

  3. Barry Says:

I believe the way to reduce air pollution is creating alternative fuel sources for the large trucks. Just looking at all the large trucks and semi tractor trailers on Interstates, an infrastructure could be put in place and utilized.

  4. Gene E Says:

Hate to bring this up, but the Cup races have been reduced to 40 car fields…..Yes it was good to see the 3 back in winners circle!

  5. Kit Gerhart Says:

What’s with the weirdness of these “stages”? NASCAR has about lost me.

  6. Ziggy Says:

@2 I would think India would be far enough away from the racing circuit to not be blacked out, unless you meant Indiana ;)

  7. Kit Gerhart Says:

6 Yep, Indiana, specifically Indianapolis. Indy is the extensively used short word for Indianapolis.

  8. Kit Gerhart Says:

2,6,7 oops, typo in 2. Sorry

  9. omegatalon Says:

BMW’s M8 and Lexus’ LC500 is further proof that General Motors has the wrong person running Cadillac as it’s time for a change as Johan de Nysschen just doesn’t understand the American buyers and de Nysschen is taking Cadillac into a death spiral as the company is worst now than when he was hired.

  10. Kit Gerhart Says:

GM has a car about like the LC500, called Camaro SS. Well, I’m sure the LC has a much nicer interior.

Omegatalon, I agree regarding Cadillac. They have some good product, but not ones that people want to pay BMW and Benz money for. I still think they should sell CTS and CT-6 as rear drive, with a Chevy V8, but at prices that make them a reasonable value. A CT-6 like that would be a “real Cadillac,” at least to me.

  11. Kit Gerhart Says:

Heck, they should put a V8 in the ATS coupe. That actually would sort of compete with the LC, and at the right price, should sell. The engine should fit with no problem, since it fits in the Camaro, which uses the same platform.
