  1. G.A.Branigan Says:

P.T. Musk is starting to feel the pinch, and doesn’t like it. Good.

  2. Chuck Grenci Says:

While doubling the Li-S batteries to 200 cycles is great progress, that still isn’t enough to be ready for prime-time. Still, it is good that other avenues are being looked at to get batteries at a better place.

Two thumbs up to G.A.’s comment (#1 post).

  3. Lisk Says:

So when OTAs are being performed, will the vehicle still operate or is it like a PC where it is not usable until the download is performed and then installed an restarted before it can be operated again? This looks like a big inconvenience if an OTA is going on and you need to go do something.

Elon, Elon, Elon. I think you have trouble with the media is because they can see though your promises and tweets and report what the information available is. The media is your lifeline, look after it and respect it.

Was anyone else surprised at the speed in which the cars were travelling on the RO-ROs. Seemed to be kind of quick to me, but then again I’ve never worked on a dock.

  4. Lambo2015 Says:

Elon had better make the final push to get the model 3 up to production volume and fix the quality issues or he can expect more criticism. The tide is turning and his time has run out. I would say he has weeks not months to get his house in order.

I really love the looks of the Raptor and sure wish they offered that body kit on a regular F-150. I dont need that kind of capability or the humongous price tag.

  5. Bob Wilson Says:

The Elon Musk ‘tweet’ is so mild, it is nothing compared to what comes out of the White House. As Elon pointed out, online journalism has become a ‘click war’ which is why so many detect and hide content from anyone using an ad blocker to stop those autoplay video ads.

Owning Prius for 13 years, the media has repeated a lot anti-Prius nonsense. For example the CNW Marketing “Dust-to-Dust” and the Sudbury nickel mine frauds. My link points to “Common Prius Myths.” Elon’s media complaint is mild to what my Marine Corp description of these past, journalistic malpractice.

  6. Lisk Says:

Just read where Elon has announced March 15 is the reveal date for the Model Y. That should generate him about $4 billion in capital funding and plus 600,000 reservations (this time at $2,500 a pop).
Did Elon work the back alley crowd? He is the master of the shell game.

  7. G.A.Branigan Says:

@ Lambo2015: I just don’t see musk getting his sierra together enough to overcome his production problems. Sure, the bad press is a strong motivator, but it might be to little, too late.Jmho…

Raptor, yup, ford sure is proud of their prices on those, lol. But,the rangerdanger raptor might lesson the pain of purchase a bit. And ford has to come out with the midsize version to compete against the Chebby ZR2.

  8. Kevin Anderson Says:

Foreign made cars a security threat? Let’s see how Trump’s Big 3 friends like it when foreign countries start nationalizing the local Big 3 factories in retaliation. NOW you know the other reason GM is bailing out of so many foreign countries. I’m selling my stock while it is still worth something.

  9. Kit Gerhart Says:

5 Interesting list of Prius myths. I’d heard some, but not all of them.
