Cadillac created a wagon version of the stunning Cadillac CTS so it could be competitive with other luxury marques like BMW and Mercedes. With this project GM had a challenge: create a wagon version of the vehicle that does justice to the sedan’s beautiful looks, all the while remaining cost competitive.

    John: I agree with your assessment on the new Caddilac wagon. Another homerun would be taking the side skin and the rear end of the Mercedes 550 and plopping it unto the Buick Lucerne. This would take a already pretty car and making it a stunning, world-class beauty!
