The huge investment in hydrogen fuel cells can’t be justified by the merger sale of consumer vehicles. So do you write off the investment or do you look elsewhere to find a market? Kudos to Toyota for finding a way to keep people employed.
In the trucking field, it all comes down to cost per mile. Can Hydrogen be cost competitive? I doubt it. It will have to be forced on trucking firms to be zero emissions.
