Public Service Announcement

March 23rd, 2009 at 12:47pm

Do not watch Autoline LIVE. If you prefer to buy into the corporate line, believe everything the government says, and trust the PR hype, you do not want to watch this show. It is not about regurgitating press releases. It’s about giving you the straight, unfiltered truth about the automotive world.

On Thursday, March 26th, 2009, John McElroy will tap into his vast network of auto journalists and colleagues to gather for an irreverent roundtable discussion of the latest news to come out of the automotive world. Joining John is outspoken automotive pundit, Peter De Lorenzo of AutoExtremist.com and gonzo PR ace Jason Vines. It’ll be an uncensored, no-holds-barred, tell-it-like-it-is conversation on what’s wrong, what’s right, and what’s up with the auto industry.

John and co. will offer their insight into the upcoming March 31st viability plans as well as other top news coming out of the automotive world. Submit your story ideas ahead of time by bookmarking them at delicious.com. Tag them as AutolineLive.

We recently chose this obscure vehicle as the subject of our latest Trivia Contest on Autoline Daily.  We challenged you to name the car, but even John didn’t know!  For the record, it’s a 1960 Koller sold in Argentina for exactly one year.

We asked for a funny/clever answer if you had no idea what the vehicle was and you didn’t disappoint.  After the jump we’ve got some of our favorite responses.  Be sure to leave yours in the Comments below!
