Every year automaker offer more and more electric vehicles, in fact, several companies are on the verge of selling plug-in EVs with high-power lithium-ion batteries. But the industry’s shift from oil to electricity is not without its problems. At least one potential issue that could short-circuit the movement involves charging systems. In the following one-on-one interview, John sits down with Kristen Helsel, the Director of EV Solutions at Aerovironment, a green-energy company, to talk about advanced electric-vehicle charging systems.
