It’s no secret that the subcompact CUV is the “in” thing of late. But with the introduction of the HR-V stateside at the LA Auto Show, Honda thinks that by basing the vehicle on its Fit platform it might just have the right recipe to bring in young first-time customers. Here’s a quick look at some of the details of the new model including when to expect it and how much you’ll pay.

With a bold new in-your-face styling theme, the 2016 Ford Explorer looks poised to go up against the likes of GMC. Perhaps that’s why for the first time ever they’re offering a Platinum Series that offers a well-appointed interior to go with the exterior design. Chief Engineer Arie Groeneveld discusses all that and more with John McElroy at the 2014 LA Auto Show.

See why the President and CEO of the Chrysler Brand says the 2015 300 finally does justice to the “Baby Bentley” concept showcased years ago. The refreshed sedan has an updated design, brand new 8-speed transmission and a laundry list of safety systems. John McElroy asks him when the new car will be in showrooms, and it’s sooner than you may think.

Audi of America President Scott Keogh presents the company’s Prologue concept, which showcases the “100%” new form language that will adorn the next generation of vehicles. The concept’s interior is especially stunning with new design-friendly interfaces such as a dashboard interface for the passenger, a flexible LED screen and a 3D virtual cockpit.

With the 2016 CX-3 Mazda takes its first foray into the burgeoning subcompact crossover segment. Design Director Derek Jenkins walks us through the styling of the curvy B-class vehicle and explains how Mazda worked to combine two segments in one.

BMW used Los Angeles as the setting for its global reveal of two high-powered, high-sitting M vehicles. Ludwig Willisch, President & CEO of BMW North America, has personally taken the X5 M and X6 M around the race track, and he explains to John McElroy what unique technologies make these heavy utility vehicles such top performers around the oval.
