Michigan and Ontario share international border crossings and represent one of the largest automotive manufacturing clusters in the world. Now the bond is going to grow closer as the two regions cement their relationship with a memorandum of understanding to co-operate more closely on everything automotive.

Fine Tuning The CARB – CAR MBS 2016

The California Air Resources Board is not backing off its commitment to the 2025 CAFE standard. Despite worries by automakers that cheap gasoline prices and a market shift to CUVs means they might not be able to meet the standard, the CARB believes there is no need to change the rules.

CAFE 2025 Is Just The First Step – CAR MBS 2016

The EPA’s Technical Assessment Review spells out how well the auto industry is meeting fuel efficiency standards. That’s the first step in the mid-term review. Now the EPA is collecting input from the auto industry, the environmental community, and other interested parties. It will then decide if it has to change the CAFE standards–or not. But the EPA is already looking beyond 2025.
