Hackers are getting bolder and finding more creative ways to break into cars. They’re turning to apps and phishing attacks. How does that work? Tesla’s approach to developing autonomous vehicles relies on collecting data from all the vehicles it has on the road. In this sense, it has an advantage over every other automaker. But it’s not enough. At the pace it’s collecting data it will take centuries to collect enough. Ziv Binyamini, the CEO of Foretellix, explains why automakers, truck makers and suppliers need to generate edge-cases with powerful software that can compress several centuries of testing down to a couple of years.
