This week’s guest of honor is Ford’s Barb Samardzich, the Vice President of Global Product Programs. We’ll be asking her if there are new segments Ford needs to get into and what the future holds for the Lincoln brand. John McElroy will also talk about his trip to Taiwan and a brand new car company called Luxgen that is developing some very interesting technologies. We’ll also touch on some of the most interesting reveals from the dueling New York and Shanghai auto shows this week. John is joined in studio by the Autoextremist, Peter De Lorenzo.

Being here in Arizona, I have no choice but to watch or listen to After Hours on the web. The down load for the 99th issue is not Barb’s in Frodland, but a show from 2 weeks ago. Watching the show has it starting before the beginning. How can I get this fixed?

  2. Thom Taylor Says:

Your new config sucks. Why can’t we just click onto the AfterHours logo like we have been able to do the last 2 years. I typed in the Bitly address and it just puts me back to mid-show with no audio. You don’t have to out-trick yourself–the old config was fine–as it is now I can’t access show 99.

FYI, as of Apr 23-24, the MP3 download (AAH_099) is the same as the previous show (AAH_098).

Hey, the audio you guys posted for the podcast is from the last episode 2 weeks ago!

  6. John McElroy Says:

Everything appears to be working normally at present. If you’re having trouble accessing the audio for episode 99, please contact bsanders@blueskyproductions.tv with a detailed description of what you are experiencing. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Hey guys, podcast both on Zune/iTunes and on this site is Episode 98, not 99. Hope this is resolved ASAP. Thanks!

  8. Rob Says:

    Thanks for getting that fixed!

The video keeps stopping. and the circle of marching ants start. How do I stop it.

Have to say I am disappointed on the response to both the rwd Lincoln & Falcon questions. Even if they sort out the slow reactions in many fwd-based awd systems, there is still the issue of weight distribution.

Also they will move away from the Falcon at their peril, apart from the Commodore the other main competitor in the class is the Toyota Aurion (effectively a Camry V6) which sold under 12k units last year, and this in a country where Toyota is the highest-selling manufacturer.

(I know this is a late response, I too d/l’d the wrong episode at first also)
