I’ll bet most Autoblog readers take pretty good care of their cars. And like me, I’ll bet most of you change your oil about every 3,000 miles or so.

    Very informative. I wish my car had oil monitoring. Good feature.

    I believe that the 3K is a scam, but it still influences me. I change at 5K rather than 7500. I use synthethic in two of my cars and I change it at 10K.

    Still, I see far fewer cars burning oil than I did 40 years ago.
