Toyota’s C-HR concept is a C-segment crossover coupe that’s smaller than the RAV4 and explores new territory for the company. Evolving the brand’s “Keen Look” design language, the concept is notable for its unique floating tail lamps and headlights that emerge from the Toyota emblem. Lance Scott from Toyota Europe Design and Development tells us whether this two-door concept could grow up to be a full crossover some day.

Toyota’s concepts are fabulous. Shame that we’ll never see much of the concept in the production vehicle–if they make it. No, the production vehicle will be dumbed-down, make to look stodgy and dumpy, and will leave the designers of the concept weeping and gnashing their teeth.
