Just curious. The Honda bodyside & roof laser brazing is not really clear to me. “The wire is laid in the joint. Then the laser brazing is added to melt the wire brazing the seam”. Is the laser-brazing have a spool like a mig welder? I guess the details might be a secret and not as simple as led to believe. I worked in a prototype BIW shop that tried something very similar to this over 20 years ago. I would like to see how Honda is doing it. No hand waving is permitted. A sketch or drawing is the best way to avoid having different ideas of what the engineers are describing. (First draw it, sign it, then we built it.) Sorry, I can’t go into more detail without the possible breaking of company secrecy rules.
