With over 10,000 engineers working on the all-new 2019 Silverado, almost no stone went unturned when it came to redoing the iconic pickup truck. Overall, it’s bigger than the outgoing model, but Chevy was able to cut out up to 450-pounds, thanks to its mixed materials strategy. But perhaps the biggest highlight is the announcement of a 3.0L inline 6-cylinder Duramax diesel engine going under the hood.
