SPECIAL GUEST: Steve Carlisle, Senior VP & President, Cadillac
Cadillac will be coming out with a new vehicle every 6 months for the next 3 years and the latest reveal is the all-new XT6 3-row crossover.

“3 trimester” timing is waaaay to far out. Tesla will have the ModelY out within a year. Cadillac is blowing it. They must need to time to get the dealers on board. Sad but instead of going from our Bolt to a Cadillac it will most likely be a Model Y.

Sad to see Cadillac sharing platforms with other GM divisions. The XT6 is just a GMC Acadia with a Cadillac grill. This will dilute the brand as it did with pathetic offerings like the Cimmiron. If GM ever wants to be viewed as a luxury brand it needs to keep that separation from its other divisions. Exclusive platforms that share no visible components with their other divisions, Interior/exterior. Share powertrains and chassis components but nothing the customer will notice. Willing to bet there is little difference from the XT6 and a Acadia Denali, besides price.

I hope Carlisle was tired, as he seems to have zero energy. Is he just a place-holder and waiting to retire?

The side view of the XT6 is way too plain and the front does not do much for me. I wonder if this was done for the Chinese market where previous Cadillacs where to angular for them.
Mr Carlisle either needs more vitamins or fire lit under him.
