  1. Sean Says:

I’m not convinced that dealers won’t go back to full inventory when the supply chain gets sorted out. Why? Because some manufacturers that carry a full product line can sell inventory with minimal to no incentives – such as Toyota. Want a half-ton? Are you willing to wait 6 to 12 months for a low to mid trim Chevy that won’t even have a heated seat or heated steering wheel? Or 12 months for an F150? Or get a Tundra today at your local Toyota dealer? What about an SUV? RAV4. Sedan? Camry or Corolla. Off-roader? 4Runner.Toyota principals will be fat and happy. Their sales managers, sales people and service managers will also be happy. One of the others will blink first, probably Stelantis. Then the other will follow.
