Synopsis
In America, when the calendar turns to January many of us think of the events that make the month special...winter weather, college bowl games and the largest auto show from coast-to-coast. Yes, for car lovers across the country it’s time once again for the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan. On this week’s Autoline John McElroy previews the 2007 edition--which also happens to be the 100th anniversary of the show--with two auto journalists who tell us what we can expect from manufacturers in the coming year. John also gets a sneak peak of the General Motors display area with Mark LaNeve, the head of vehicle sales, service and marketing.
And finally John wraps up the show talking with one of the co-chairs of the NAIAS. From the Detroit Auto Dealers Association who talks about the growth of the show, its future and its benefit to local charities.
