Synopsis
Detroit was "electric" the past few days thanks to the 2007 North American International Auto Show. That energy came from many of the usual suspects -- the vehicles, the personalities and the media -- along with one unusual source called "the Volt."This week Autoline features our panel of experts discussing the big attention-getters at this year’s show including what General Motors calls the Chevrolet Volt -- a car that’s not quite a hybrid and not quite a 100% electric vehicle either. In fact, Autoline got a backstage look at the car just before the show and spoke with the team who brought to life what many called the star of the 2007 Detroit Auto Show, yet others considered nothing more than a symbol.
