Just how did the Shanghai Auto Show, become the next big thing?
I must have missed the meeting notes!
Hi,
again, interesting discussions.
I have 2 questions:
1. Are China foreign car manufacturers maybe wanting to buy some of the smaller (Start-up) Chinese car manufacturers that might go bankrupt?
They would buy Chinese car designers, maybe software engineers and market share.
2. In China renewable electricity is growing at high speed. To be able to use all produced electricity from the sun and wind also at night, huge decentral battery storage is required. Would batteries at EV charging stations be a option? They sell electricity to EV and earn money balancing the grid. Must it be a battery swap or is cable charging a better business model. Fast charging is possible and (sorry to say) not so bad for the battery as was mentioned. See the experience of people only fast charging with high capacity after 100k or 200k miles.
What is your opinion? Maybe you can discuss it some time in a new show.
