The Automotive Industry Action Group gets global automakers and suppliers to work together to eliminate duplication and inefficiency. Volunteers from those companies work with the AIAG to set best practices and standards. They’re even working on problems like tracking and eliminating components that were made with forced labor or conflict materials. Though it’s been around for 42 years, the AIAG is not that well known. Matt Pohlman, the CEO, explains how they’re breathing new life into the organization.
