What You Missed on Open Line

August 2nd, 2010 at 4:56pm

If you weren’t a part of Monday’s great “Open Line” discussion on anything and everything automotive, Michelle Naranjo of MissMotorMouth.com has a taste of what you missed! And, don’t forget to check out the next discussion right here at 8PM ET / 5PM PT on August 16, 2010. Phone: 1-218-936-6581 and PIN: 27194

There is never a lack of opinions about cars on Monday nights! On last week’s Open Line Show, the new Explorer got the group’s unflinching analysis, the CTS-V Coupe was heralded by all, and the future of NASCAR was dissected.

Discussions about the actual survival of Suzuki and Mitsubishi came up, and with iffy promotion and a lacking product line, we debated whether it might be the death knell for both. A participant in Germany gave one caller suggestions for a fun rental car while in the country: the BMW 120D was the winner. Where did SVT go and what should Ford do with the badge? Everyone had an idea for that one, of course.

After about 7 hours and a lot of laughter and cars on the phone and in the chat room, the show wrapped up. Should be another great night tonight at 8pm ET. Join us right here!

Special Thanks to our friend Dave Foley, AKA Miradart, for help hosting the show on Monday. Great job!
