Acura has been around for 30 years but it’s hard to define exactly what the brand stands for. Moreover, Acura only has four volume selling vehicles in its showrooms. This week’s show is all about how Acura is rebuilding itself to become a true performance brand and where it plans to expand its model lineup.

Your interview with Jon Ikeda clarified why the Acura brand can’t be defined: the people running the company don’t know what kind of cars they want to produce. John could not seem to answer ANY question in a direct manner…could not define “Performance”, etc. He rambled a lot. I want to like Acura, but he gives me no reason to. Honda “used” to be a great car company known for certain things: quality, reliability, fuel efficiency, etc. Perhaps Acura would be a contender if it could define itself.
