Automakers are rushing into a new business opportunity called mobility services. It involves ride hailing, ride sharing, electric scooters and e-bikes. It could even involve passenger drones. But so far no one is making any money on this. So the question is: is there a business case for mobility services?

Thanks, as always, for another informative and thought provoking program.
Of particular note was one of your guest’s comments on the ongoing need to r-calibrate sensors on vehicles to maintain accuracy of data. My mind immediately jumped to the IoT and its world filled with sensors. The comment vibrated a chord for caution and the realization of how inaccurate data would generate dangerous results. In response, I’m just beginning to incorporate this cautionary thinking to better understand the IoT.
