    The ’49 DeSoto had rectangular front secondary lamps. They changed to a round design in 1950 as depicted in the abandoned example you featured.

    Re. Hummer: Agree with John. Do not go gentle into that good night. GM is doing with Hummer what Ford is with the Mach-E. Hummer is the anti-Bolt. It’s obnoxious, over-the-top, and clinically insane. What better way is there to demonstrate that going electric isn’t a compromise?
