What an awesome interview! It seemed like the time just flew by. Good luck to Scout and everyone involved.

Long time subscriber here. I still own and drive a Scout SSII that my buddy purchased new in 1979. My grandfather drove a Scout 80 to his job in the coal mines. With that, and my having purchased a brand new Scout in 1977 and again in 1979, I really enjoyed the interview and all that was covered. I can really relate to the design elements that Chris talked about, and I think he and his team have done an outstanding job. I understand and especially appreciate his thought behind not utilizing round headlights. By the way, when I was a young kid, I was always drawing cars, and I did want to be a car designer when I grew up. Too bad I’ve never grown up. Great interview, and what a wonderful life story Chris shared.
