Sandy Munro. Loved listening to him through the pandemic and at other times.
He sure has some strong ideas about education and seems to point out the shortcomings on what ought to be.
I appreciate his life story and have lived a similar path in the America that was possible at the time.
    It was rough but possible.
Now his outward support for Trumpty-Dumbty and his incompetents which did include our Home State Betsy Devoss is delusional. She cut public funding and has the current administration which has no clue as to a path forward. Wanting something and having a path to implementation are separate issues.
If we had half the money they have allocated to religious exemptions and support for the private I School education platforms we might have some allowance to keep or even promote alternative education venues.
I would advise Mr. Munro to actually engage the local educators and put his money up to advance this sort of approach.
Building new facilities and adding educators in new curriculum is exactly what the current regime opposes.
Hiring educators who can teach and advise in future and evolving curriculum cost money none of the school boards have and none of the government agencies can support.
Wanting something is the not the same as having a plan with a budget.
Teaching is not a lucrative business and under constant restraints especially by the current Naziblican Party.
Hiring and retaining talent to teach is not in anyone’s budget and could never pass the DOGE test.
Distressing to here him whine without understanding that the cause of this is in great part due to his believes in Government and lack of solutions.
