    There might be a cost advantage, to OEM’s all using the same brake design, from the same supplier, however… what happens when there’s a failure in that part? who is responsible? where does the buck stop? can the user sue that particular OEM, since they ALL have the same part/system? i don’t see that ever happening.

    also, can 1 supplier actually supply all 3 major US OEM’s with that many brake systems?
    I think it’s ALOT harder to actually do in reality.
