The technology advances in 3D printing have made huge progress in recent years. This is actually a 3D printed engine component by Voxeljet that received FAA approval to be used in aircrafts. Now if you aren’t aware, the process to get a printed part through FAA certification is rigorous and challenging. If companies today are capable of doing this, imagine what doors it opens up for the future in 3D printing 5 years from now. #InternYazaki #CoOpYazaki #CARMBS

Autoline is partnering with Yazaki to offer a unique perspective of the 2019 CAR Management Briefing Seminars. During the week of CAR MBS, Yazaki interns will be posting their insights to Instagram and Twitter using #InternYazaki as well as Snapchat. We’ll be sharing some of the most interesting of those posts right here on Autoline.tv, so check back often. The opinions and reports from the intern correspondents are their own and do not reflect the editorial position of Autoline.
