Yesterday I was able to talk with Max Straub, CFO of Bosch. I asked her how she was able to move up in the world and be as successful as she is today. She told me it’s not about moving up, it’s about moving forward. Max always chooses the path that is most interesting to her and she suggested that I do the same. #internyazaki #carmbs2018

Yesterday when listening to Funding the Future of Mobility: Creating a Thriving Ecosystem, I had the opportunity to listen to Reilly Brennan- a founding General Partner with Trucks, a seeding stage venture capital fund for entrepreneurs changing the future of transportation. When asked what specific metrics do you look at when investing he says he looks for founders that have the best progress and growth—they usually have a better understanding of the risks they’re taking on. He then works with them to try and get those risks off the table. But what I really appreciated during the session was finding out that he encourages diversity within the workplace- he would have not spoke if there wasn’t a woman also speaking on the panel. #carmbs2018 #internyazaki

Had the pleasure to meet and talk with Maarten Sierhaus. After his presentation about autonomous vehicles I asked him how the AI system in a car would handle changing environments where people drive at different risk levels. He explained how the system would not be updating constantly but rather as the car sleeps it would be updated with mapping information from all over. The car would then adjust to different settings and drive differently. #internyazaki #carmbs2018
