The business case for robotaxis doesn’t look all that bright to Bryan Reimer, a research scientist at MIT. But he says there could be huge demand for personal AVs. He lays out his case why this will be so, and also talks about the role AI will play in getting there.

    I’m with Bryan on what I’d pay for. When autonomy will drive me somewhere while I sleep, I’m interested. Until them , I’m ok with driving myself.
