Why Tesla’s FSD Will Never Work – CES 2023

January 7, 2023 by John McElroy

Tesla’s approach to developing autonomous vehicles relies on collecting data from all the vehicles it has on the road. In this sense, it has an advantage over every other automaker. But it’s not enough. At the pace it’s collecting data it will take centuries to collect enough. Ziv Binyamini, the CEO of Foretellix, explains why automakers, truck makers and suppliers need to generate edge-cases with powerful software that can compress several centuries of testing down to a couple of years.
