TECH REPORT: Ford RevoKnuckle

As we reported on Autoline Daily, Ford has developed a new kind of front suspension that eliminates torque steer.  Called RevoKnuckle, it looks and works a lot like a conventional MacPherson strut.  The big difference is that it has as a separate ‘carrier’ that holds the bearing, hub and wheel.  While turning, the ‘carrier’ moves rather than having the whole strut pivot, which apparently stops torque steer in its tracks.  Click the link below for more information about this exciting new technology.

AUDI AUDIO: TT RS Engine Sound

Audi will formally debut its all-new TT RS at the fast-approaching Geneva Motor Show next week.  Ahead of the official unveiling, the company released a few photos of the car and preview sound clip of its turbocharged five-cylinder engine.  Audi says the power plant will produce “. . . well above 300 bhp,” however much that is.
