While I can still drive safely today, that may not be the case 10 years from now. I would much rather have a robo-car at my disposal than depend on public transportation to get to the Doctor or hospital for ever increasing needs.

Great show, but I would ask Larry what about security of all these robo-vehicles from being hacked and also what about personal privacy of the public using these? Will Amazon, Google or Nvidia or other giant corporations know about our daily every move?? Therefore, will mobility and “AI” create society of prisoners that are being monitored and watched in a police state like scenario? Will freedom cease to exist?

hey guys i love this show, LONG time listener/watcher, however…. sometimes you all have WAY too much faith in “tech” lol… it FAILS all the time. OTA updates? they goof up all the time. i will NEVER willingly get into a ” johnny cab” autonomous vehicle… EVER. One software glitch or failure is all it will take.
you dont give people enough credit.
Then there’s the CONTROL factor… people need to go where and when they need to travel. Autonomous vehicles dont allow for spontaneousness while out on the road.
