Automakers operating in the U.S. face 55 years worth of regulations and red tape from different agencies. In many cases these regulations overlap or even conflict with each other. It’s time to hit the reset button and come up with an entirely new approach.

I think you would make a ‘beautiful’ Secretary of the Department of Automotive Regulation. If only you could give this talk to the President I bet he would echo my sentiments. It is often the right person for the right job that makes a difference in history.
