Hydrogen refueling stations for fuel cell vehicles are big and expensive. But a startup called Zero Emission Industries figured out a way to shrink everything down to the size of a suitcase. John Motlow, the Chief Strategy Officer of Zero EI explains how it works and the different applications where it is being used.

If there is a significant source of hydrogen from wells, hydrogen makes sense. Otherwise, it makes little sense unless and until large quantities are produced by electrolyzing water using renewable power. Currently, most commercially produced hydrogen come from natural gas, with a process that dumps huge amounts of CO2 into the atmosphere.
