June 9, 2025 by sean

Which car company put in the best performance last year? You might be surprised at who came out on top. Or maybe you won’t be surprised at all. All of this is based on the numbers the top 10 automakers generated in sales, revenue, profits and quality.

    John,
Thank you so much for compiling this data and letting us know the results! You are such a wealth of knowledge on the auto industry and I truly appreciate this information and the effort you put into reporting it.

    John,
Totally unrelated, but on the 6/9 Autoline Daily there is a Ford vehicle pictured on the home page of the episode. It is a yellow SUV approximately the size of an Escape or MachE taken in China, but with a wonderfully aggressive and sporty look. Is this a concept vehicle, a China only SUV or maybe AI generated? I love the design and am unaware of what this vehicle is. Can you help. I normally don’t care for SUV’s but I would buy this! Thanks.

“Lies, Damned lies, and Statistics”. Especially the laughable, conflict of interest, JD Power garbage. Note that Automakers PAY JD Power to do these ‘surveys”.

But this distinguished Professor was always ar lenient grader, and you get “B” for Effort strictly. Adjusted for grade inflation, this is a “C”.
